so i was finally bored enough to actually watch this film - sky+ has a lot to be sorry for - and i just gotta ask, wtf?

so, the premise and main plot device of the movie are contained within the title, but come on, they got everywhere through the shaft ssytems on the plane - the cockpit, the oxygen mask holders, the lighting - and yet they were stopped by hetting the first class compartment of the plane by an inflatable raft?

it gets to the point where you can't sit down and watch a stupid movie now without thinking "god this is reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllyyyyyyyyy stoopid.

I havn't seen it, but i've heard people say similar things about how stupid it is. I guess it was just supposed to be a cool action film, but i expect more from Samuel L Jackson i have to say.

i think things started to dip when he did the 51st state. enjoyable as it was, he was no badass gangsta mofo.

as far as the virgin media ads go, remember they had uma thurman, so they do bust the bank for their endorsements. i'm gonna wait til they have a crazy price cut in the monthly charges and see if they bring in britney.
